Custom build Two channel monitoring is usually achieved without any significant compromise in respect of the cosmetic or decorative design of the control room.
Multi Channel monitoring introduces not only four more monitors but usually a projection screen or CRT monitor as well. With limited space, especially when converting from stereo to multi channel, it is often necessary to consider custom cabinets for some of the additional monitors.
ATC is a vertically integrated company in total charge of all of the manufacturing operation from the parts that go into the drive units to the complete system. With a specialised custom design function therefore, as well as our own cabinet makers on site, we are quite capable of quickly developing and proving monitors that conform to a given specification (e.g. perform as SCM100A), but are built specifically for difficult installations.
Most common is the requirement for special centre channels to permit the use of large projection screens, but even complete systems have been built in which every monitor is a bespoke design.
